Spinning Babies® Parent Class
The Birth Preparation Class introduces parents to the basic techniques for comfort in pregnancy and ease in birth. This three-hour class adds confidence and skills for the birth partner and reassurance for the birthing person. We think this is one of the most important classes for preparing for comfort during pregnancy, labor, and birth!
Spinning Babies® Birth Preparation Class highlights your baby’s active role in birth. During labor, baby needs to pass through “3 Levels” of the pelvis. This class teaches techniques to help expand the pelvis and the muscles that support -or restrict - your pelvic “levels”. Together, you and your partner can use these techniques before and during labor to help "make room for baby"! The goal of Spinning Babies is to create conditions where baby can find the optimal positions for labor, making birth easier, less painful, and even comfortable!
In-person Class:
Interactive, hands-on, small group class.
Each technique in the parent class curriculum is demonstrated and performed in class.

An Individual Spinning Babies® Appointment is helpful for people who have a baby presenting breech, had a previously challenging birth and would like more one on one guidance, and/or preparing for a VBAC
The Parent Class is a great option for first time birthers, anyone preparing for any type of birth including people who have or have not had a difficult previous birth, and/or preparing for a VBAC.

Every pregnant person looking to prepare their body for birth. I think this is hands down the most important class to take to prepare for birth because it gives you simple and practical things to do each day to create adaptability in your body to help baby navigate through the pelvis.

Fee: $150 in-person
Our fee includes the birthing person and their chosen support person. Please let us know if have more than one support person in advance. Along with course materials.
Cancellation Policy:
Canceling your reservation 8 or more days in advance results in a 100% refund, minus a $50 administration fee. Canceling 0-7 days in advance results in no refund, although you may transfer your registration to a future offering of the same class, if available.
